Their defiant behavior is not always associated with a desire to attract attention. It is quite common for sociopaths to violate laws and generally accepted rules because they think they are stupid and unacceptable for themselves.
Behind the strong "armor" of sociopaths are deeply unhappy people who are always unhappy with everything that happens around them. The higher the level of intelligence of such a person, the more difficult it is for him. Painful pride poisons their lives.
