People do not cease to admire such qualities as frankness, straightforwardness, openness, and in one voice condemn deceit and hypocrisy. Often, close people require absolute honesty from each other, but either this is not possible, or total honesty becomes fatal for the relationship. What is the philosophy of lying?

Step 1

In a burst of creativity. The most shameless liars are those who want to embellish what they are describing at all costs. These are just those personalities around whom this or that company invariably gathers, greedily devouring every word they uttered. Creative liars are incredibly charming, they tend to be adventurous and harmless fraud. Often such people simply lie, without investing special aspirations in this process, they lie to enliven the conversation, or to draw attention to their person.

Step 2

Lies for the sake of salvation. It happens that a lie looks much more harmless than the truth. In everyone's life, at different times, the question arose of what is better to present: the bitterness of the truth or a sugary-sweet lie. As a rule, the second option seems to be more humane. For example, why should a terminally ill person know how small the time allotted to him is. It is hardly worth opening the eyes of a friend to her husband's infidelity, if they already have two children, the third is on the way, and, moreover, she has absolutely nowhere to go. What about a co-worker who has completely changed her image and is in awe of how she looks now? It is hardly worth disappointing her, saying that her new style of dress smacks of vulgarity. In such situations, it is more prudent to lie to a person, while remaining alone with his truth.

Step 3

A profitable lie (or a lie for salvation). This type of lie is the most common. This is a situation where lying is easier than admitting the real state of affairs. Remember what you were inventing when you were once again late for work, forgot to fulfill someone's request, or were simply lazy. Everything here is madly simple - the truth is inconvenient and unprofitable, so you resorted to a saving lie.

Step 4

Lies covering complexes. Man by nature is always dissatisfied with something. In fact, this is not so bad, because dissatisfaction may well serve as an impetus for radical measures aimed at changing the present for a more attractive future. But another variant of behavior is also possible. A less charismatic, infantile personality will prefer to lie about what has been achieved, rather than trying to achieve. Such people surround themselves with the illusion of happiness, spread about non-existent material wealth, about their own numerous virtues, etc. Such a lie can lead to easy glory, pursued by the constant risk of exposure.
