Firing is an unpleasant, but not uncommon practice. The reasons can be many: downsizing, hiring a more promising employee, employee negligence or failure to fulfill his obligations. The main thing is not to lose heart after being fired, but to gather strength and solve the problem that has arisen.

Step 1

If you were fired under the article, then the corresponding entry was most likely made in the work book. Such a document will compromise you in further job searches. Some people prefer to say that they have lost their employment and show up for interviews with a new document, but this always alarms HR managers: this is an obvious method to hide the dismissal, and many use it. If you can explain good reasons why you were fired, then try to do so.

Step 2

Usually, the dismissal is executed in such a way that a person leaves of his own free will. This allows you not to spoil the worker, and more often than not, what happened does not really depend on the person. For example, the crisis and layoffs are one of the most frequent reasons for layoffs in recent years. Nevertheless, the employees themselves do not always realize that they are not guilty of dismissal. Resentment against the employer, self-doubt, uncertainty appear, apathy or depression on a nervous basis may even develop. Do not fall into despair, do not give in to despondency.

Step 3

After being fired, some allow themselves a little rest. There is nothing wrong with that, unless the "vacation" is so long that it deprives you of your work concentration. Being in a relaxed state, it is very difficult to find a job, as your mood is felt, and a competent HR will certainly notice it. Try to get yourself together before looking for a job. Start getting up at the same time, not for lunch. Work on a job every day: treat it like your current project. Be collected and attentive.

Step 4

Sometimes people find their old resume in the archives, add a new line to it about freshly lost work, and start looking. But a much better solution would be to rework the resume, add the skills acquired in the new job, adjust goals and plans in accordance with the current situation. Sometimes a person changes so much as a specialist in a few years that it is easier to write a new resume than to take an old one. In any case, it is worthwhile to study it most closely.

Step 5

Don't panic and don't cut your desired salary. If you have achieved any success and carried out responsible and important projects, you have experience. Sometimes people in a panic write too low a value on their resume, quickly get a new job, and then think about what to do now, because there is clearly not enough money to live on. Reduced remuneration may be considered if there is a probationary period, but it is best to do so only if you are applying for a higher position than previously held, or you understand that you have really great prospects in this job.

Step 6

If you cannot find a job for a long time, you can try to contact the employment service and find there advanced training courses. This is a free service, but few people know about it. In addition to new knowledge, you will receive a scholarship during your studies.
