Sex hormones are responsible for this separation, which contribute to the development of speech centers in women, but in men, as it turned out, testosterone just blocks the brain cells responsible for speaking skills.
Studies have shown that women, on average, pronounce about 20 thousand words a day, in contrast to men who can barely “cope” with 5-7 thousand words in the same time. A rare woman speaks on the phone for less than 20 minutes a day.
Psychologists even believe that often girls speak only in order to hear their own voice and express themselves, no longer worrying about whether they will be heard. They also determined that men are unable to maintain attention when they have to listen to a woman for more than 45 minutes.
