Good and truth are always close to each other. Attempts to do good that does not come from the heart do not bring satisfaction. A rich man who gives alms in the hope that the money he gives will return to him a hundredfold, is mistaken in his hopes and receives neither money nor bright joy in return.
Good, coming from the soul, is sincere, it does not expect to receive something in return. The old woman, who shared her last money with another poor woman, received in return joy and warmth in her soul at the thought that she had enough money to help her. And now that woman will be fine, today she will have a hot meal for dinner.
Not every person comprehends the truth, not every person knows and understands how to live, but everyone receives messages from his soul, which is really good. Having opened his soul to another, a person does good: from under the dark clouds of discontent, greed, rudeness, the rays of the sun burst out, informing that light always conquers darkness.
It is pleasant to receive a kind attitude towards oneself, but it is no less pleasant to give it, to give people hope. Then the souls of others will one day open up to meet you.
Of course, in response to your good deed, you can sometimes receive evil. For example, you opened your soul to another person, and he just laughed at you. Or you were sincere with him, and he took it as your weakness. Or you wanted to help someone, and this person used your trust just to get a benefit. Nevertheless, when faced with evil, one must not give up.
If you feel bad today, remember those people who are even harder now. Help them, and the good coming from them will overwhelm you with a warm wave, carrying away all your troubles and sorrows.
In modern life, unfortunately, there are still too many sick people, abandoned children and homeless animals. They really need participation and kindness, in those people who will be able to understand, support, shelter and warm their hearts with their bodies. It's so easy to take the first step, send them a message: "You are not alone with your problem!" You will make them a little happier! You can.
