Indecision is a character trait that usually annoys both its owner and those around him. Of course, when in any business it is necessary to put a "solid fat point", and a person cannot decide in any way what he, in the end, wants - this is unpleasant. Therefore, getting rid of this "vice" is simply necessary.

Step 1

Listen to your speech. If you notice that your phrases include words such as “well,” “maybe,” “I doubt,” “I'm not sure,” “I can't decide,” etc., then this is a serious reason to think. Of course, such phrases are familiar to everyone, but their too frequent use in an uncertain voice indicates the presence of indecision in the character. Therefore, try to speak firmly, avoiding protracted reflections on this or that occasion.

Step 2

Limit time for making decisions. As soon as a difficult situation arises, immediately begin to think about options for getting out of it. You can even take several sheets of paper and divide each into two columns: in one column, mark the arguments "for", in the other - "against." For example, let's say you set yourself a goal to meet one hour. This means that at the end of it you need to complete your reflections and take stock. It doesn't matter how many ways were considered. The main thing is that the one with more positive aspects (arguments “for”) is correct.

Step 3

After a week, or maybe a month, you may well be able to cope with the problems mentally, without resorting to notes. In addition, the process will become quick, because hesitation can be eliminated by comparing different arguments.

Step 4

Cultivate courage. This is precisely the human quality that contributes to the emergence of determination and self-confidence. For example, you are afraid of public speaking. So get over this fear. Write a report, story, poetry and find a way to present what you have done to others. At one point, you will realize that the inner stiffness and tightness have receded.

Step 5

Just don't push it to the point of absurdity: the desire to overcome the fear of heights does not mean that you urgently need to jump from the tenth floor (although it is possible that you will be able to muster up the courage to jump with a parachute). Having created a “core” in the soul, it is quite possible to replace lack of will with firmness and categoricalness.
