There are people who react very violently to everything that happens around them in this world. Any events that do not even happen to them, they perceive as their own. Such people are extremely emotional, they feel the mood of those around them, they can worry about all of humanity at once.
People whose attention is constantly directed outward are not able to digest all the incoming information and at some point their consciousness is overloaded. As a result, they begin to suffer if someone is offended, to break down at strangers, cry and frighten others, worry sharply about climate change or because of the failure of a friend's son at the exams, sob over the plots of the films they have watched, or become depressed. They painfully perceive other people's emotions and shift other people's problems onto their shoulders. They have a strong empathy, but they are not introverts. Such people are called high-frequency.
Reasons for this susceptibility
Such features of the psyche have physiological reasons.
The part of the brain that synthesizes the received information about the world and people, has increased activity and more than ordinary people, the number of mirror neurons responsible for the emotions of another person and his experiences.
This is not a disease, but an inherited trait that helps a person to survive.
Additional characteristic
High-frequency people have empathy, so they almost always know exactly how you are feeling. They have developed intuition, they are good listeners and creative natures. They always have something to talk about, they are full of ideas. Most often, these people can be found among musicians, artists, poets, actors, volunteers and environmentalists.
Among high-frequency people, there are also those who find it very difficult to express themselves, because they are afraid to upset loved ones by starting to do something on their own, or to hear unflattering reviews addressed to them. They experience serious problems at work, reacting to any negative emotions of those around them, which exhausts them completely. Such people are especially sensitive to criticism. They may start to get angry, cry, be offended, brawl, or, conversely, fall into depression and despondency, which will not allow them to adequately assess their work and eliminate mistakes.
How to live if you are a high frequency person
First of all, you need to accept yourself as you are. Do not look for flaws in yourself, non-compliance with "standards", do not try to judge and blame yourself for being different from others.
Understand that people around you are also susceptible to other people's experiences and pain, but in a different way. They have a different emotional perception of the world, because each person is individual, and what is natural for some, for others seems at least strange.
Avoid negative people. Knowing your susceptibility, it is better to stay away from those who constantly condemn, criticize, and conflict. If at work you are surrounded by people who are regularly in negative experiences and emotions, then it's time to think about changing jobs and looking for a new environment. Otherwise, you have a high probability of a nervous breakdown, the appearance of chronic fatigue syndrome and the occurrence of a number of psychosomatic diseases.
Take care of yourself more often, find time for meditation, loneliness and silence. Do not overload yourself with unnecessary problems and give rest to your mind and body.
