Such people have a lot of clothes, shoes, toys and a variety of things that, perhaps, have nowhere to go. They constantly think about shopping and this brings them happiness. Researchers call such people materialists, because materialists think too much about things and live according to the scheme - buy things, think about them, stay happy.

Materialists experience positive emotions even when they have already acquired a thing. However, it is the waiting for the purchase that brings them more pleasure. Materialists believe that certain things will increase their self-esteem, help improve their position in society and improve their quality of life.

As already mentioned, materialists take pleasure in waiting for a purchase. For such purposes, they take loans and, most likely, are constantly in debt. Of course, they also buy the necessary things, but some of them greatly overestimate. For example, they get very upset when they find out that the latest smartphone is not expanding their social circle.

It is worth purchasing the necessary things, but you do not need to make impulse purchases. If you really want to buy an item, but are not sure if you need it right now, postpone the purchase. When in doubt, think back to your last trip to the store, did you really need all these things? Have they been able to change your life?
