Obsessive advertising from all screens, promotions, sales, discounts … How can you resist? I would like to buy without fail, but it is better to stock it up for future use. Only there is no it, well, from such purchases. Then you look at the apartment littered with unnecessary things and say to yourself: “Well, why! Why is all this bought ?!"
Advertising is done by very talented people for a lot of money. It makes sense that it will work. The most talented ads will work in a way that you won't even notice. Manufacturers and sellers mercilessly incline us to consume. Save yourself who can!
- Close credit cards. This is a portable debt pit. If you have a problem with shopping, the doctor has strongly advised you to use cash.
- Carry a small amount of money with you and often forget your wallet at home. There he will be warm and comfortable, and your bag will certainly "comb" next to the next store.
- Make lists, keep them with you and USE them. This will save you from wandering in the trading forest belt, where wolves in the skin "2 for the price of 1", "it's easier to reach me" and other similar animals are already waiting for you.
- Put it off for later. More often than not, THEN does not come, and if it does, then you make a more deliberate purchase (perhaps even really necessary).
- Do not forget the well-known rule "do not go to the store hungry." I want everything at once. Herring and milk! Pickles with bananas and donuts! In a restaurant, by the way, it is also better to order first 1-2 dishes, and only then a pork leg, chicken wings, 2 servings of potatoes, ice cream and tiramisu …
- New clothes can really boost your mood for a little while. Try to dispel your sad thoughts in the park, not in the mall. Otherwise, the temptation to reward yourself with a brand new dress will lead to unplanned spending.
- If, when it's lonely and sad, you want to walk along the counters and shop windows, think about what kind of gaps and voids in life you are trying to fill. You probably have something to work on. This means that we need to solve our problems, and not buy them off in another boutique.
- Remember that "on the other side of the coin" are problems with credit, friends whom you owe, and a spouse who is not happy with such extravagance. Imagine they are walking around the store with you. Will they approve of your next purchase?
If shopping problems are chronic, seek help from a therapist. This treatment is quite successful and, possibly, will save you millions of rubles. But happiness, after all, is not in money … Be sensible and spend it with pleasure.
