For many people, the appearance of a problem, even a small one, temporarily narrows the horizons - a person begins to think only about it, scroll in his head all sorts of ways to solve the troubles that have arisen. The ability to shift attention to something more pleasant is an invaluable quality. Trying to conquer your weakness? Get an interesting hobby, work overtime, and play sports in your free time - you won't have the time or desire to succumb to the dangerous temptation.
