But sex (as an instinct for procreation) is one of the main instincts of a person, forcing him to act, so he cannot completely disappear. Just like the instinct to breathe, eat, sleep (we are not talking about the instinct of self-preservation here, because if it is weakened, i.e. a person is visited by thoughts of suicide, then it will not be possible to overcome depression on your own, you need qualified help from a psychiatrist). Sex promotes the production of the body's natural antidepressant, endorphin (the hormone of joy), so making love can help you to slowly get out of depression.
