Alcoholism is a twentieth century disease. Twice as many people die from this addiction as from cancer. If a person is an alcoholic, this does not mean that he drinks from morning to night. It also happens like this: in the morning he goes to work in a prestigious company, and in the evening he goes to the store for another bottle of wine. This can go on every day, and others may not even notice that their exemplary and quiet neighbor suffers from alcohol addiction. There are several ways to recognize an alcoholic.
Instructions
Step 1
You can recognize an alcoholic by the appearance of a person. In people with alcohol addiction, the collagen structure is deformed, and the face appears to be constantly swollen and flabby. Swollen eyelids appear, the vocal cords become deformed and coarse, the movement of the body in space becomes chaotic and uncertain.
Step 2
Ask the person a few questions on the topic: how do you feel about alcohol addiction? More often than not, an addict will not criticize or praise alcohol, but will try to justify alcoholics. They will argue that they have a hard life, a failed career, a lack of personal life, and that they can be understood and not judged harshly.
Step 3
It also happens that a person does not know that he is an alcoholic. Perhaps you are in this number. Ask yourself ten questions: 1. Do you drink alone?
2. Are you trying to find a reason for another bottle of wine?
3. Do you need alcohol for your body to function properly?
4. Can you reduce or quit alcohol?
5. Has your drinking caused unpleasant incidents?
6. Do you drink in secret?
7. Do you get angry at the thought of stopping drinking?
8. Has your diet changed?
9. Do you also carefully monitor your image?
10. Do your hands shake after sleep If you answered “yes” to five or more questions, then you are suffering from alcohol addiction.
