Overcoming the psychological cause of cowardice is often more difficult than the physical one. The surest way is to meet your fears. Take a piece of paper and a pen. Sit down and calmly consider what you are afraid of. Think of all life situations in which fears took over and prevented you from achieving success. List all your fears in order from most important to least significant. Have you recorded it? Now look at the three most insignificant situations in which you have shown cowardice. Try to recreate similar situations in the next two or three days and act in them as you would like. After you've overcome your cowardice, praise yourself and celebrate your success. Go from overcoming minor fears to major ones. Over time, you will notice how your psychological stability has increased.

Back up your accomplishments with positive affirmations. Every morning after waking up and in the evening before going to bed tell yourself: “I am confident in myself and my strengths.
