Self-confidence, self-confidence and attitude to life are formed in a person from childhood. In a family where the parents have low self-esteem, where there is a passive attitude to life, the child is unlikely to grow up to be a confident, optimistic and socially successful person. How can you learn to believe in your own strength and not be afraid of difficulties?
Instructions
Step 1
To build confidence, be sure to start feeling good about yourself. Love yourself and build your self-esteem in every way.
Step 2
Start accepting who you are. Pay attention to those around you: in some ways they may be better than you, but not in everything. You also have something to be proud of and something to value in yourself. Try to be honest with yourself and others. Assess your strengths and weaknesses adequately. Remember that they are an integral part of your personality.
Step 3
Write down all of your main strengths on a piece of paper and carry this list with you. When you are overwhelmed by a fit of self-doubt again and your self-esteem is threatened, re-read the list - you will definitely feel better.
Step 4
Take a closer look at how confident people around you behave. Practice alone with yourself to imitate them: voice, posture, gait, demeanor.
Step 5
Try to do more good for the people around you. Help an elderly neighbor by buying food for her, give it to a beggar. By helping others, a person begins to value himself more and what he already has.
Step 6
Embrace life in all its variety. Be calm about all the ups and downs, troubles and problems. Evaluate a difficult situation and find a way out of it without succumbing to panic and blues. Express your feelings openly when defending your opinion or the truth.
Step 7
Learn to set yourself small tasks and solve them, gradually move on to more complex, significant goals. Achieving even a small goal helps you gain self-confidence.
Step 8
Smile more often. Laughter is good for your inner health and overall health. Don't miss a moment to laugh, including at yourself.
