Sometimes it happens that there seems to be work, and the family is quiet and smooth, and friends do not forget, but all the same, the soul is restless. When you feel that the routine is addictive, put a little effort to bring life back to life.
Instructions
Step 1
Keep a diary. Buy a nice notebook and a new pen, or start a blog online. Regular recording of ongoing events will allow not only to record them, but also help to look at this or that situation from the outside. Diary is a grateful listener who never interrupts. No wonder they say that paper will endure everything. But you can pour out all the unpleasant emotions if it's hard for you, or at any time re-read the memories of joyful events if you need positive emotions.
Step 2
Get your home in order. Feng Shui experts say that the abundance of unnecessary and old things negatively affects the energy of the house and its inhabitants. If you haven't put on something or haven't used an item for a year, feel free to get rid of it. Place cracked plates and cups in the trash bag, out of fashion or boring clothes to charities. Reorganize the space. Move the furniture, throw away the annoying ottoman, grease the hinges, secure the loosened doors. Add color accents with bold cushions or new kitchen curtains.
Step 3
Become a psychologist for yourself. For example, take a piece of paper and divide it in two. In the first column, write down all your advantages, and in the second - disadvantages. By analyzing the left column, you will understand what you have, what to be proud of and what to respect yourself for. The data in the right column will help you determine the direction for further development.
Step 4
Learn to live now. Children never plan anything. They live "here and now". If something good happens to them, they rejoice, if something bad happens, they get upset, but soon they forget and again enjoy life. Try to follow an example from those who have not yet ruined life, conflicts, stress and constant planning. Try to be aware of your feelings, emotions, actions. This approach will allow you to live without denying anything and perceiving life in its entirety.
Step 5
Forgive enemies, let go of past grievances. If you cannot forget some unpleasant episode of your life, mentally replay it in your head again. Imagine you are sitting in a movie theater and watching a movie. Try to remember as many details as possible, remember the emotions that you experienced then. Then come up with an alternative ending for your movie. Surely now you know exactly how not to get into a similar situation or what to answer to the offender. Your subconscious mind will "rewrite" the memory. The facts will remain in the past, and negative emotions will be replaced by positive ones.
Step 6
Think about a hobby. In the hustle and bustle of everyday life, there is very little time left for doing what you really like. Try to devote at least 15 minutes every day to your hobby. During a break at work, you can have time to knit several rows in a new scarf, on the way home by bus or metro, read a few chapters from an interesting book, and in the evening cook an unusual dish according to a completely new recipe. If there is no way to travel, walk around the city at least once every two weeks, discovering new places for yourself.
Step 7
Solve financial problems. You don't need to be a professional accountant to do this. If you owe money to someone, but cannot give it away, wind up an envelope, write “gratitude” on it and indicate the name of the person to whom you owe. Debt takes energy, and gratitude returns it to you. After all, you are probably grateful to the person who helped you in a difficult period of life. Set aside 10 percent of each salary and bonus in this envelope. After a while, you will find that you can easily pay off your debts and even have some money left for yourself. Stop overpaying for groceries in supermarkets, buying what you don't need, and taking out loans.
Step 8
Go in for sports. Even if everything is in order with your figure, sport should enter your life. If possible, get a subscription to a good fitness club and go there at least 2 times a week. Engage in a sport that makes you feel good. Exercising in the gym will not only help to increase blood and lymph flow, speed up metabolism and restore muscle tone, but also expand your social circle. If you do not have enough time or money for a fitness club, go in for sports on your own. Walk part of the way from work. This will give you the opportunity to “ventilate your head”, get some fresh air and stretch your muscles, especially if you have a sedentary job.
Step 9
Get some time management. Modern man is so busy that he does not even know how much time he is wasting. It sounds paradoxical, but in fact it is. Install a scheduler on your smartphone and schedule the next day in the evening. Do not waste time in shops within walking distance, it is much easier (and more economical) to go to a hypermarket once a week. Find a beauty salon, body shop, and dental office near your work or home. Spend 15 minutes a day cleaning your house every day (a new area every day: kitchen, bedrooms, balcony, toilet and bath), and you free up a whole day off for more enjoyable activities.
Step 10
Learn to think positively. Imagine you bought a new expensive car. What gasoline will you fill it with? The best, of course. Emotions are the very gasoline that you "drive" on. Find something pleasant even where it, it would seem, could not be. If you catch a cold - there is time to lie in bed and read a book, stumbled on the street - it's time to think about buying new beautiful and comfortable shoes. The more positive you are, the faster your life changes.
