It happens that you can't force yourself to do an important job. Whatever it is, simple or complex, the work is not progressing, and that's it. There is no desire to do this, and I just can't bring myself to do it. All the time you are distracted by something, there is no motivation to get down to work, there is not enough internal impetus. How can you force yourself to start doing useful things?
Instructions
Step 1
Make a list of things to do. If there are some important things to do the other day, schedule them for a specific time. It happens that you are not doing something right now that is necessary. Write a to-do list on paper and place it next to it. Now start taking turns doing one thing after another. Once you're done, cross it out. This will bring noticeable moral satisfaction, because you are doing your duty. Completed cases spur you on and give you strength for further accomplishments.
Step 2
Too many things that you put off for the near future can create the illusion of impossible duties of a huge and scale, although in reality, they are quite simple tasks. Each big thing that makes you fear because of its size, divide it into several sub-points, each of which will be easy for you to complete. The most important thing is that you feel psychological comfort when thinking about each item of the big task. Any stage of separation should be characterized by some partial completeness of the common cause, have its own logical end.
Step 3
If you still can't force yourself to consistently carry out the tasks from the list, then take this sheet of paper in your hands again. Now, in front of each case, write what exactly good things await you after you finish. Let's say you need to complete a report - upon completion, you have the right to count on approval from your superiors or simply on relief from the fact that this task no longer hangs over you like the sword of Damocles. If things need to be done urgently, but you cannot think of pleasant consequences from them in the near future (for example, benefits are expected only in the future), then introduce a reward system.
Step 4
Indulge your sports passion. Tune in to the fact that you need to overcome difficulties. Cheer up, have a coffee, and get started! You can use your favorite music that inspires you, or other techniques that increase your performance. The most important thing for you now is to pull yourself together and enter the competition with laziness. Think about the money you get for your work, the people who will benefit from your work, and the fact that you will not be successful if you don’t complete important tasks.
Step 5
Don't forget to rest. It is much better to take enough time to rest, and then quickly solve the tasks, than to do everything slowly, and still not have time to rest. Only those people who have good rest do well at work. Remember this rule and follow it. Don't forget about sports as well. If your body is not in good shape, then no one will be able to get vigorous action from you.
