Each of us notices that a certain monologue with ourselves constantly occurs in our head. Not a minute passes without a thought. When a person begins to notice this monologue, he is more and more distracted by it. Some people cannot even fall asleep because thoughts do not give rest. To many, it seems impossible to stop this flow.
Instructions
Step 1
Getting an end to your inner monologue is not an easy task. The main action here is a simple instruction - not to think. The question is how to get rid of thinking. Many people cannot do this, and it is simply not clear how to stop this process of deliberation. Try not to think or follow the thoughts that will be in your head. Wherever you go, practice not thinking. But there is one caveat here. Do not suppress your thoughts with will. This will not lead to good results, and you will also lose the urge to practice.
Step 2
In order not to suppress your thoughts with your will, you need to be distracted. As soon as you start practicing distraction from thoughts, the need for them will begin to disappear. Let yourself be completely immersed in your work. When carrying out any assignment or business, try to fully concentrate on it. Concentration will allow you to increase your attention on a certain activity, the achievement of which you need. At the same time, extraneous thoughts will go away, since your brain will consider them unnecessary at this moment. Even just walking down the street, you concentrate on your breathing, then your inner monologue will immediately stop as unnecessary.
Step 3
One of the ways to stop thoughts in the head is yoga. Practicing yoga asanas (postures), you will have to concentrate your attention only on them. By performing monotonous movements and staying in them for a certain time, your thoughts will disappear. Yoga also includes breathing techniques that will also help you stop your thoughts.
