Adhering to good habits is a sure way on the road to self-improvement. By doing something useful every day, you first of all think about yourself and achieve amazing results that have a positive effect on your later life. Developing a habit is difficult, as it requires willpower and the ability to move forward no matter what.
Necessary
- - notebook;
- - pen.
Instructions
Step 1
To get started, take a piece of paper and write on it one or more habits you want to develop. You shouldn't ask too much of yourself, so the best option would be to specify from one to three habits.
Step 2
It is now very important to analyze them. On the side of each item, write the word "why?", And below it, answer honestly to the question posed. This moment is the most important in all work on oneself. After all, how weighty your answer will be, the result will be so effective.
Step 3
Set aside exactly one month to achieve your goal and start acting from tomorrow. Write down your daily progress in a notebook. If you wish, you can write down the feelings that you experienced while doing the work. By rereading the notes, you will be able to analyze your progress.
Step 4
Do the task you set for yourself every day, which will become your habit in the future. At first it will seem easy to you, after a few days you will get tired and want to give up everything. Do not stop at all and believe in yourself. Think that this is just some thirty days that will pass quickly. And then you, if you want, can abandon your plan.
Step 5
If you find it very difficult, try turning on the reward system. For successfully completed activities, indulge yourself with something, for example, cook your favorite meal, take a walk, buy your favorite movie or book. The main thing is that you feel that you deserve it thanks to your dedication.
Step 6
In a month you will already be proud of yourself and believe in yourself. Usually this time is enough for the actions you take to become a habit. If this does not happen, set yourself a new deadline and repeat everything from the beginning. Over time, you will get used to this routine and you can start developing completely different habits.
