When a baby appears in a family, the whole life of this family and the daily routine of the household completely changes. The mother is now more often at home with the child, putting the satisfaction of his needs first. And often at the same time forgets about himself. How often can you observe young and not so mothers who, after the birth of a child, have changed not for the better, both externally and internally. How can we avoid this and not become that “aunt” with greasy hair gathered in a bun, in baggy clothes and with a dull look?
When you tell young mothers that it is imperative to find time for yourself, your appearance, your inner world, many immediately declare that this is impossible with a baby, that it takes all the strength and time. But you just need to properly plan the day and week. Then you will not only be able to fulfill all your plans, but also have a quality rest.
Get yourself a beautiful diary in which you can enter all the planned tasks, or use the capabilities of your phone / tablet / computer. And get down to business!
Planning a week
- To begin with, we write down all the cases for a week or a month that have: a trip to the doctor, a swimming pool, developmental activities, and so on. This way you will not forget about an important event and will be able to prepare for it in advance.
- Next, we describe the important ones: sign up somewhere, go to visit your parents, buy a gift for a certain event, wish someone a happy birthday.
- Don't forget to plan. Think about the roles you play in life: mom, wife, daughter, friend, hostess. Maybe you will remember something else. After all, with the birth of a child, you did not stop being a wife, but many young mothers begin to devote so much time to their new role that they completely forget about their husband. Hence the various problems in the relationship. Therefore, at least once a week, you should have at least one task planned for each of your roles: arrange a romantic dinner, call your parents, meet with friends, etc.
Planning the day
When you have a rough schedule for the week, you can make a plan for the next day. It is better to do this in the evening, then during the night your brain will have time to work out this plan, and in the morning you will immediately get down to business, without putting it off until later.
- Divide everything into blocks: morning, afternoon, evening. For example, in the morning you can get up half an hour earlier than the baby and calmly do all the necessary procedures for your beauty, as well as have breakfast. Then, with the awakening of the child, you will not be nervous that you want to eat, and your son or daughter needs attention right now. Also, schedule your child's naps, making sure to take some time to rest. You can either lie down with him to sleep a little, or take a relaxing bath and get positive emotions.
- Make a list of routines (morning, afternoon, evening). Routines are things that should always be done: combing your hair, brushing your teeth, working out with your baby, removing all toys before bed, etc. By doing these things regularly, your home will always be clean and you will always look great. Think about what to do every day. At the same time, you do not need to be zealous and write down in the routine all-all chores around the house, comforting yourself with the illusion that you will complete all this. This should be the minimum required.
- Make the bed
- Wash, comb your hair, do light makeup
- Have breakfast, wash the dishes
- Work out with the baby (nursery rhymes, creativity, various games, songs …)
- Start washing
- Remove all things in their places
- Remove dry laundry
- Wipe the floors
- Take a shower
This is just an example. You can include in your routine any important and obligatory business.
In addition to some compulsory matters,. This can be a cup of your favorite coffee, reading a book, watching a movie. That is, these are things that make you happy and give you strength, which, at least for a short time, pull you out of Groundhog Day.
One might think, why write down such joyful deeds in a diary? Then, among the endless feedings, changing diapers, cooking and other things, women often forget about meeting their needs. As a result, they simply fizzle out, giving all of themselves, but not replenishing their energy reserves.
Start planning your time and you will definitely see positive results!
