An endless series of small everyday problems can make anyone forget about serious problems. If you start to notice more and more that your diary is swelling with small issues that need to be solved, and strength, energy and talent are wasted, then it's time to work on yourself.
Useful deeds are the enemies of success
Leave your thoughts that you must spend all your time exclusively on useful activities. Well, or those that seem so to your loved ones. Start doing things that are important to you, not useful to everyone. Clear your life of imposed priorities and guidelines.
It is impossible to catch everything
Try to come to terms with the fact that no matter how efficiently you work, the number of tasks will always exceed the amount of your time. Moreover, you cannot do absolutely everything on your own. Learn to highlight the main thing for yourself, and entrust the rest to someone close to you.
Down with perfectionism and paper trash
Remember that the effort you make must always be proportionate to the end result. Don't waste 90% of your time on something that will ultimately bring in 10% of the profit. Often, it is enough to simply do something conscientiously, rather than strive to achieve perfection.
Empty your desk drawer specifically for paperwork. Send there everything that does not require an urgent solution. When the drawer is full, throw the contents into the trash can and start over. Remember - 95% of what is in it will never be useful to you. This can also be attributed to emails.
Delegation rules
Try to do on your own only what only you can really do. As often as possible, ask yourself what is the most worthy thing in your life for you to spend time on it. Also, encourage the independence of those around you. Emphasize that qualifications are not the main thing, it is just the ability to do a certain job correctly. Efficiency is much more important, because it implies the ability to do what is needed at the moment. Therefore, do what is required, regardless of everything else.
Learn to say no
Stop being distracted by unnecessary phone calls, email, and unnecessary suggestions. Scientists have proven that, on average, anyone is distracted every eight minutes. Don't let people take you away from the main thing. Learn to refuse, and do it right away. The longer you are silent, the more the other person feels that you agree. Learn to refuse politely but firmly, be sure to explain the reason and offer a possible alternative.
Stay on time
Get in the habit of ending your day after you've done all the important things. Do not fill the rest of the day with little things, it will be much more effective to relax in your free time in order to start new achievements with fresh strength.
