The opposite also happens - you strain, overcome, spend a lot of energy, and the results are sadly small. This means that you are not in the flow and it is time for you to find your flow state.

A flow is a state in which a person is fully involved in what we are doing. He is so involved in his activities that we even "forget ourselves." In a state of flow, a person's attention is 100% directed to work, he successfully achieves the assigned tasks, does the right thing, and all decisions are made easily and correctly.

In a state of flow, the feeling of oneself and time disappears, and there is only a feeling of an incredible uplift - emotional, physical and spiritual.

Meditation will help train this skill.

Exercise to achieve flow state:

  1. Sit up straight.
  2. Close your eyes and pay attention to your breathing. Feel each inhalation and exhalation.
  3. Notice how the chest rises as you inhale and drops as you exhale. Observe the movements of the chest throughout the meditation.
  4. If extraneous thoughts come to mind, just notice that you are distracted and gently return to observing the breath.

Do this exercise daily for 10-20 minutes, or several times a day.

Meditation should become a part of your life and you should practice it daily. In this way, you will learn to focus your attention and achieve a state of flow.
