Every person has creative abilities, but they are developed in different ways. The ability to think outside the box and find new things in ordinary things are abilities that can be developed. Here are some ways to "wiggle" your brain.

Morning thoughts

No wonder they say - the morning is wiser than the evening. Get in the habit of writing down all of your thoughts, feelings, and experiences on three pages every morning. You need to write whatever comes to mind - in the process of writing, you get rid of the "garbage" in your head and, probably, you can find a solution to a long-standing problem. Do not reread what you have written. Just put it in the back drawer or throw it away.

Replace habitual actions

Going to work every time the same road, performing all morning activities in a certain order, we turn on the "autopilot" for the brain, which, so, does not strive to work all the time. To start the process of generating thoughts - change the route, try to cook a new dish or watch a movie of a genre that is not typical for you.

Create your ritual

Changing habits in everyday life is very important and you need to practice it constantly, but with regards to creativity, you need to adhere to the ritual. If you don't have it, create it. The fact is that the brain remembers the environment during vigorous activity and, when recreating this situation, will turn on the imagination. But do not get hung up on any one action. Try different options.

Date with creativity and sports

This is especially important for women - at least once a week to be alone with their hobby. It can be anything - walking around the city, embroidery, listening to classical music, cooking, and so on. The main thing is to be alone with yourself. This is necessary in order to find something new and inspiring. The limitation of the incoming information also has a positive effect. Avoid reading, watching news feeds and other similar activities - this will "clear" the brain.

Take at least half an hour a day to exercise! All aerobic exercise literally pulls out ideas hidden in the brain. During physical activity, happiness hormones are produced, which also promotes creative growth. The main thing is to choose an occupation to your liking. It can be jogging or dancing, skating or swimming.

Association game

A very simple but effective exercise. Pick any object in the room and match five adjectives to it. For example, a chair is black, soft, new, comfortable, leather. And then there are five adjectives that are not suitable for describing this subject - bright, red, small, wooden, and so on. If you get more adjectives, don't stop imagining!

Hat method

Briton Edward de Bono suggested using the "six hats method" to expand the capabilities of the brain and parallel thinking. The essence of the method is that each hat has its own color and meaning. White - focus on the available data, identify what is missing and how to use what is available to solve the problem. Red - intuition and feelings. Black is a negative, pessimistic approach to the problem, suggesting the darkest outcome. Yellow is positive, the opposite of black. Green - search for non-standard solutions. Blue is the chief's headdress.

When you try on each hat, you look at the problem from different angles, you solve it in different ways.

Do not expect a miracle

… weird yourself! Inspiration, of course, is a great thing, but we can create it ourselves, and not wait for a whimsical muse to visit us. Stephen King admitted that he did not wait for inspiration, but began to create, and the muse appeared already in the process.
