Life, when any problems are solved for you, is easy and carefree. However, sooner or later, most young people understand that it is necessary to begin adulthood. The decision to become an independent person is only the first step, after which you still have a lot to do.
Instructions
Step 1
Start accustoming your family to the idea that you are completely independent and capable of living separately. Start small: take on some of the household chores. Most parents are ready to let their child go on their own only after making sure that he does not starve to death, living alone. Listen to the advice of your family and faithfully carry out all assignments. This will demonstrate your maturity and responsibility - qualities necessary for an adult.
Step 2
Learn to take responsibility for your actions and words. An adult must be able to make calculated decisions, and if he makes a mistake, be responsible for his mistakes. Assess yourself impartially: if you are not ready, it is better to postpone the beginning of an independent life, otherwise you have every chance to return home very quickly under the wing of caring parents.
Step 3
Take every chance to live an adult life. If your parents are away for a week or two, volunteer to stay and look after the apartment. Upon arrival, they should find cleanliness and order, well-fed and well-groomed pets, flowers watered on time, a refrigerator filled with food and a festive dinner prepared. If you do not have the opportunity to live on your own for at least a short time, try to please your relatives with culinary masterpieces more often, a spring cleaning carried out by yourself, etc.
Step 4
If possible, try to get a job. Let it be low-paid and short-term, but you will take a big step forward, since the ability to earn money is the most important quality of an adult. Another criterion by which you will be judged is how you will spend your first earnings. Do it wisely: buy something for yourself or for your family.
