Trust is a feature of the attitude towards this or that person, expressed in the willingness to share compromising, secret or other information that is not subject to publicity. It can be easier or more difficult to gain the trust of a person depending on the degree of his gullibility or suspicion, but you can lose it almost instantly.
Instructions
Step 1
There is no one-size-fits-all way to gain or earn trust. You will learn about the person's trust in you a little later, when he himself considers you a fairly reliable friend. So, be patient and just start observing the person. Analyze his character: secretive or open, suspicious or naive, cautious or reckless. The first characteristics indicate that you will be building trust for a long time.
Step 2
Behave as if you are already responsible for this person: protect his interests, support his opinion. Don't overdo it and be sincere. Toadying and falsehood will cause rejection and suspicion.
Step 3
Treat with respect any information about the subject of your research. Don't let gossip with negative content and generally gossip less. Talkative people find it more difficult to gain trust from anyone.
Step 4
Don't ask for friends. Just maintain warm friendships, sometimes go for walks with the company. Be relaxed, if you are doing everything right and your subject likes it, he will come up and tell you what he sees fit. Your business will already maintain credibility.
