Blue is a noble color. It is generally accepted that real nobles and princes have "blue blood". Blue is a symbol of the sky, infinity, evokes melancholy, a dreamy mood. It can mean devotion and loyalty, chastity and kindness. The French associate blue with fear, and the Slavs gave it dark associations with demons and sadness.
