You can have a family, successfully move up the career ladder, buy an apartment in an elite neighborhood and buy an expensive car, but still be unhappy. Perhaps all of these things are not really what you really want to have. Listen to your heart - it will tell you what you really need.
Instructions
Step 1
Those who cannot understand what they would like from life should first listen to their petty desires. Learn to understand what you still want for dinner - baked fish or an omelet, whether you will be more pleased with orange nail polish or raspberry, if you want a tablet or phone as a gift. Subsequently, after training, it will be easier for you to determine which university you want to go to, which company to work for, or which young man you have your heart for.
Step 2
Take a piece of paper and list your main activities on it. For example, you work as an accountant, lead a macrame weaving class for children on weekends, and do contemporary dancing. After that, on the same sheet, record all the emotions that the listed activities evoke in you. Don't give yourself time to think, write what comes to mind, and then analyze the result. Perhaps you find handicraft with children inspiring and giving you joy, while the main job plunges you into despondency, and then you should think about retraining. And if you associate modern dance with clumsiness, perhaps you should choose a different direction.
Step 3
Imagine yourself in five years. Imagine your ideal day in your mind. You open your eyes, kiss your partner (remember to consider what he looks like) and go to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. After getting dressed (be sure to pay attention to how you dress after five years), you leave the house or apartment. At the same time, check for yourself in which country you live. Track which car you got in and where you came to work. What did you do there, and where did you decide to go after - to a cafe, to an exhibition, to a concert or straight home. This imaginary day will be what your heart desires, and it is in your power to help the dream come true.
