Everyone strives for happiness and joy, but, unfortunately, it is not always possible to be happy. It is important to understand that there is no universal formula for happiness, but you can sort out your feelings and desires.
1. Write a list of what you enjoy doing.
The first step is to prioritize. Write on a piece of paper a list of things you usually do. It can be anything and relate to various life situations - career, family relationships, chores, hobbies, meeting friends.
2. Write down the number of minutes during which you are engaged in a particular activity.
Quite an important point in which you describe how long the pleasure lasts from each received action. For example, the pleasure of eating candy lasts five minutes, and of reading a book or watching a movie for a long time. This will help you analyze and understand how correctly and competently you are using your time.
3. Rate each action.
The grading system can be anything. You can write both a digital scale and a regular text scale. Think carefully, mentally recall all your activities and put down a grade, guided by your feelings and sensations.
4. Summarize.
Now is the time to take stock. To do this, look carefully at this list, choose what you like more. Try to perform these actions as often as possible in order to return to pleasant and joyful emotions.
Of course, this is just the "tip of the iceberg", because a lot of efforts should be made for a happy life, but this small method will help you to relax at least a little and take a break from the accumulated affairs, to do what you really like.
