Conversation is the main form of communication between people. In a conversation, we reach compromises, agree on joint work, and receive information. The main flow of information in a conversation is verbal. It includes words themselves, speech rate, timbre of voice, intonation and other phonetic features. The result of your appeal depends on the skill of speaking freely with people.

Step 1
Listen to the interlocutor carefully. Real listening skills are found in about 20% of all people, but the interest in your eyes will endear the interlocutor, inspire confidence and a desire to open up in him.
Step 2
Copy the manner of your interlocutor. This is usually done intuitively. We are faster or slower. To be successful, speak in the manner of the other person.
Step 3
If the interlocutor is mistaken, correct him. But don't be too harsh: start the monologue with praise, then point out the flaw itself. Suggest methods of correction. End your speech with one more compliment to create a favorable impression.
Step 4
Be ironic. An appropriate joke can defuse the situation, but don't overuse this tool, especially if you don't know the other person well. You may hurt him or you may just not impress.
