"I'm turning my whole soul inside out, and you …!" - You can often hear this phrase in the context of different relationships (parents and children, wife and husband, teacher and students). And it is unlikely that the person to whom it is addressed experiences positive emotions in return.
The thing is that this phrase expresses neither trust nor openness. This is the manipulation of another person's sense of guilt.
Openness
Openness and trust are, first of all, courage. The personal courage of each person to expose himself to criticism, ridicule or even slander. Openness is the ability to be responsible for its consequences, for one's ability to withstand these consequences.
Secondly, trust and openness is a willingness to withstand openness and trust on the part of another person, to stand on the same path with him shoulder to shoulder and walk it together.
