You have heard more than once that "Dreaming is not harmful," but you have not yet been able to find the benefits of this activity. Indeed, in your fantasies, life is full of interesting events and good luck, why is reality so different? Perhaps it's just that you want it wrong.

Step 1

Shape your desires precisely. Want a new car? Introduce it in detail. Model, color, interior upholstery … Imagine how you get into it, drive down the street, drive up to your friends, how they react to your car. The more detailed and specific your dreams are, the more chances they have of being fulfilled. This technique is called visualization. The bottom line is that the better you understand what exactly you want, the easier it is to achieve it.

Step 2

Do the same with abstract desires. Instead of "I want to get married", think better "I want to meet a rich young man of good looks." “I want to be rich” doesn't work either. Think about exactly how you could make your dream come true. “I want to find a great idea for a business and make a lot of money from it” - it will turn out much better. Present events as if they have already happened. And thank fate for that. Make your wishlist and repeat it regularly at the perfect time - “It's great that I have a wonderful husband, a job I love, a great apartment, and a new dress. I am very grateful to life for all this."

Step 3

Create a “collage of desires”. Take an A4 sheet or a whole Whatman paper and try to depict your dream on it. Write bright lettering, draw, glue magazine clippings. Let everything you want here. Hang the collage in a prominent place and look at it often. It works very simply: your brain records what exactly needs to be achieved, and the subconscious is already looking for ways to realize all your desires. And then you have unexpected ideas that bring success.

Step 4

Do something. Lying on the couch dreaming hard is not the most effective option. Turn your dream into a goal and think about what you could do to make it happen. Take at least a small step towards your goal every day. Take stock of the day, week, month: what have you managed to achieve during this time? What opportunities have you missed? Such a summing up allows you not to repeat your mistakes in the future.
