If you want to test yourself for openness, remember how long ago you had sincere conversations with someone. Typically, these conversations are accompanied by candid stories and advice based on life experience. Do not mistake excessive obsession for openness. A person with this quality can annoy with inappropriate, tactless questions, resorting to familiarity, which annoys many.

Openness is tested in communication. If you honestly answer questions from your friends, are interested in other people's events, communicate on mutually interesting topics, and easily keep up the conversation, then you are an open person.
