The impetus is often negative changes, for example, divorce, dismissal, expulsion from the institute. Of course, at the moment when this happens, it seems to us that the world around is literally collapsing, but in fact, everything that happened is a consequence of an unconscious desire to change some circumstances that we cannot consciously decide on.

How to start a new life?
How to start a new life?

Instructions

Step 1

The first step is to deal with the overwhelming emotions of change and to let go of their influence.

Make yourself comfortable in the chair. Close your eyes and take three deep breaths in and out. Then, imagine that your body sinks into a soft feather bed and completely relaxes. Imagine that the emotions, feelings that you are now experiencing in relation to the change that have arisen are a butterfly's cocoon, and you are inside. You feel how this cocoon presses on you, not allowing you to breathe easily, and you want to break out of it. Start stretching slowly, without tension, mentally imagining that with your movements you are tearing this cocoon, freeing from its pressure and letting in the sun's rays of joy. You are a beautiful butterfly, your wings unfold and you are ready to fly towards a new life.

When you feel that these pleasant feelings have completely absorbed you, you fly up to the top of the mountain and, once on it, shout: “I trust my wisdom and intuition. I am opening up to new opportunities. After eliminating negative emotions, you should begin to analyze what happened.

Step 2

To do this, you need to take a sheet of paper, write down the change that has arisen at the top, and write various possible reasons below. For example, a situation - you were expelled from the institute.

Possible reasons:

- unfair teachers and dean's office;

- I wanted to quit, because there was little time for personal life;

- unwillingness to go to college, because the faculty was chosen incorrectly, etc.

Re-read the list and analyze your feelings and attitudes towards each of the reasons - the one or those that will evoke the strongest emotions, with a high probability, will be the true cause.

Now move on to the next stage of the analysis - finding the benefits of change.

They, in fact, stem from reasons. For example, if you wanted to leave the institute, because there was little time for other interests, write in the positive: "there is a lot of time for interesting and desired classes", or the wrong faculty - "there is an opportunity to go where you want." If life with your parents did not allow you to build your personal life, then after leaving them, you had the opportunity to do it.

Step 3

So that the changes are not taken by surprise.

When the analysis is done, the reason will become clear and the advantages of what happened are visible, the change will no longer seem catastrophic, and even there will be joy that everything turned out that way.

So that in the future changes do not take you by surprise and do not make you worry once again, you need to take control of your life and what is happening in it. Be attentive to hidden desires and reluctances, track thoughts and feelings in relation to different situations in order to take events into your own hands in time and change what does not suit you, and not wait for someone else to do it for you. Make decisions more boldly, do something new, unknown, and be sure: any change is a step into a new life.
