Meditation allows you to calm your mind, get to know yourself better and understand many exciting issues. However, you will not be able to immediately feel the positive effects of meditation techniques. The experience of self-discovery comes over time, but first you just need to figure out how to start meditating at home.
First you need to decide on the time for meditation. Ideal for 15-20 minutes in the morning and evening. In the morning, meditation techniques will allow you to tune in to a productive day, and in the evening to analyze the experience gained and draw conclusions. If you do not have time at all, then you can meditate once a day, but then the effect of the exercises will noticeably decrease.
Choose a place where the meditation will take place. It is necessary that there is silence in the room and no one distracts you. For example, this could be a private room. After that, take the most comfortable position. Of course, you can stop at the usual "lotus" position, but for some people it can cause discomfort. In this case, it is best to just sit on the floor or rug.
Concentrate on the breath or mantra. Relax as much as possible and direct your consciousness into your body, past experiences and past events. Try to get rid of thoughts as much as possible. This is very difficult to do, since the brain is used to being constantly at work. Concentration should only be on breathing. At this moment, you seem to see your thoughts from the outside, you can control them.
Practice constantly, and soon meditation will bear fruit.
