Skills and the ability to prove their case are especially needed for those whose activities are related to people: educators, trade consultants, leaders of work collectives, politicians. However, these skills will always be useful to any person in his life.

Step 1
We will immediately talk not about a dispute, in which everyone cares not about the truth, but only the desire to prove that your opinion is the only correct one, but about a fruitful discussion, when everyone wants to come to a common opinion.
Step 2
The truth has to be proven in the event that it is doubted. You should not go straight into the bottle, but calmly and respectfully listen to your opponent's opinion without interrupting him. Ask clarifying questions and try to refute his erroneous, in your opinion, statements. Until you come to a common opinion, your case cannot be considered proven.
Step 3
Connect logic and common sense, argue all your statements. Arguments such as “I think so”, “As everyone knows”, “It has always been like this” cannot be considered proof of your correctness.
Step 4
If your case can be proven by documents, then use this evidence. If it can be confirmed by real numerical characteristics, give them. Do not be unfounded and will agree with your conclusions and statements much faster.
Step 5
Maintain a respectful and correct tone during the discussion. If you used facts unknown to the interlocutor in your conclusions, you should not emphasize his incompetence. Don't get personal and don't use a condescending, ironic, or aggressive tone.
Step 6
Before entering into a discussion, think about whether your interlocutor really wants to make sure you are right and is ready to change his mind. There are people who are always confident that they are right and are not at all ready to change their point of view. Any attempt to convince them that their opinion is wrong is perceived by them as an encroachment on their authority and their reaction can be very painful. Why do you need to get yourself enemies. If the dispute concerns beliefs and phenomena, then there is no point in proving something, because each person can have their own point of view
