Pride is a quality that is inherent in both strong men and weak ones. For the former, it is a sweet victory in achieving their goals, and for the latter, a protective barrier from the outside world.

Pride is a positive quality

Pride is a quality inherent in real men. It makes them move forward, conquer new heights, and implement their plans. This feeling moves the representatives of the stronger sex towards self-affirmation and continuous improvement. A man can be proud of a well-paid job, luxurious housing, a beautiful wife and everything that he has achieved in this life. There is nothing wrong with this, on the contrary, such strong personalities are respected by friends and family, are an object of imitation. For a real man, there are no obstacles on the way to achieving his goals, he will crawl out of his skin so that his loved ones feel protected and happy. A man can truly be proud of himself only when his relatives appreciate his actions.

Pride adorns a man in the eyes of the weaker sex, makes him courageous and strong, but there is one small condition - it must be supported by actions.

Pride is a protective barrier

Pride is a feeling inherent not only in strong men, but also in weak ones. It happens that it acts as a protective barrier from the outside world. For example, a person who is afraid to take the first step towards a new life hides behind pride, thus trying to protect himself from possible problems. Overly “proud” men sometimes do not dare to take the initiative into their own hands, forcing their beloved ladies to take their first steps. Often such people are squeezed in themselves, constrained and cowardly, they are simply incapable of decisive action, and pride is a kind of cover.

Weak men are usually overly proud and behave arrogantly towards loved ones, as a result of which they remain completely alone.

The consequences of excessive pride

A man who is unreasonably proud of himself can unconsciously repulse not only enemies, but also close people. For example, a loving girl who forgives her lover's arrogance for a long time may opt for a more condescending candidate. And she will be absolutely right, because knocking on closed doors is pointless. The bosses, who turn a blind eye to the antics of even a good, but overly proud employee with high self-esteem, will sooner or later find him an alternative, because, as you know, there are no irreplaceable people. A representative of the stronger sex must clearly feel the fine line between pride and arrogance, otherwise he risks being left completely alone.
