If you need to motivate an adult, then you can resort to the power of reason. Everyone has reason, although some do not want to use it to their advantage. It is better to take a bummer for an attack when he once again loses his job, which did not bring him much money. Hint that having received an education (or continuing an already begun), a person opens many doors for himself: education is connections, it is prestige, it is a habit of work. It is, after all, a diploma or certificate. Education is the confidence that you will find at least some kind of job: an employer would rather hire a person with an education than without.

It is not enough to motivate a person to get an education. It is also important how he will receive this education. Now it's not a secret for anyone that many students learn from bribe to bribe, striving only for a crust with a seal, but not for knowledge. It is necessary to let the person understand that education is in the head, and not in the diploma. It is also important to let him choose exactly the path that best suits his inclinations and his character. If a person studies in the wrong place, if he does not like it there, he is unlikely to receive a full-fledged education in this institution.
Step 3
When it comes to children, interest plays a key role here too. You cannot explain to children what education they need. Remember yourself at school: was there anything in these lessons, apart from the tedious duty every day to spend your precious time on them, which children, like adults, have so little? Did you readily sit down to mathematics or Russian? The child needs to be interested. If it's botany, go out with it to the park and study it in the field. If this is math, come up with a kind of quest in which the child, gradually solving problem after problem, the child comes to a cherished surprise.
Step 4
Another way to generate interest in learning is to get them to participate in various competitions, olympiads and contests. Of course, pushing your quitter to such a feat will also be quite difficult, but there is also a serious motivation - a valuable prize. You probably know well the person in whom you are trying to generate interest in learning. Feel what he is interested in, what he loves, what he would like to receive. Maybe he dreams of going abroad? Then look for contests where such a ticket is the main prize. Before you have time to look back, your ward will already study hard.
Step 5
Disgust for learning is like a bad habit. You can only help a person get rid of it, but all the main work will still remain with him. Even if all your labors do not bear fruit, and the person continues to sit at computer games, do not worry - life will teach. Someday he will still appreciate the importance of knowledge - maybe it will be too late, maybe not; your task is to push him to this, gently and unobtrusively.
