The life scenario of a person makes us step on the same rake, find ourselves in the same type of unpleasant situations, strike up unsatisfactory relationships similar to each other. There are three signs that you can tell that you are under the influence of a script.

How to discover your life scenario
How to discover your life scenario

Three signs will indicate to you that you have come under the influence of a personality's life scenario:

  1. Recurrence of life events.
  2. The involuntary nature of events happening to you.
  3. A single rigid sequence of thoughts, feelings, actions, which is launched every time in scenario situations.

Recurrence of life events

The first sign is not difficult to notice: every time you "plunge" into the same stories; step on the same rake; enter into the same, similar to each other, destructive relationships with people. For example, you are "lucky" to be losers or scoundrels, or dependent weak-willed individuals with puppy eyes. You changed three partners, but the fourth turned out to be the same! If something like this (or something else - but the same thing) happens to you all the time, then you are implementing a script program.

The involuntary nature of events

And here we come to the second sign - the involuntary nature of the events taking place with you. "Vaping" into the same stories, you are not able to prevent this. Every time, getting involved in another unsatisfactory relationship, you promise yourself: “That's it. Never ever!". However, time passes, and … that's right: the script is replayed.

Rigid script sequence

Then the third sign comes into play: a single rigid sequence of thoughts, feelings, actions, which is launched every time in scenario situations. Every time you "plunge" into the same stories, you tend to experience the same feelings (for example, first the desire to help and take care, then resentment for being rejected, and then anger at the same) and make the situation alone and the same conclusions (“all men are narcissistic egoists”, and “all women are abmicious hysterics”). As a result, the program of scenario behavior is self-reinforced and what happens?.. That's right: the repetition of life events, which are called scenario.

Conclusion

If in the events of your life you see the three described signs, you are acting according to the scenario: harshly, involuntarily, with an unsatisfactory result. If dissatisfaction with such events and actions in them grows, carry out work on the awareness and change of the life scenario, independently or with the help of a psychologist.
