Determination of the socionic type from photographs is possible only within the framework of amateur typing. A professional socionicist, based on your photographs, will be able to put forward a number of hypotheses about which sociotype you can have, and which one you hardly have. Photo typing should always be supplemented with other methods of determining the socionic type.
TYPING BY PHOTOS - AMATEUR PRACTICE
Determining the sociotype from photographs cannot be considered a professional practice. In such typing, a number of necessary conditions for an accurate and reliable determination of the socionic type are not met.
First, the socionic type cannot fully manifest itself on static images of a person. The socionic type manifests itself only in dynamics, in behavior, when a person solves the tasks specially presented to him.
Secondly, typing by photo assumes the typist's expert position in relation to the typed person. In such a position, it is very difficult to prove to the typed the reliability of the expert's conclusion about his socionic type. The maximum that a typed person can count on from the side of a typing expert is an unreasoned "I see it that way". The person being typed has no chance of making sure that the expert's opinion is correct. This negates the typing result.
Thirdly, the authenticity and reliability of typing from photographs is highly dependent on the professional experience of the typer. If this experience is insufficient or distorted, then an expert in typing from a photo will determine your sociotype incorrectly.
TYPING BY PHOTOS - HYPOTHETICAL TYPING
When an expert determines your socionic type from photographs, this is always a hypothetical typing. In typing from photographs, in most cases it is difficult for even an experienced typist to establish a sociotype with complete certainty. When typing from a photo, an expert can only make hypotheses: what types you could have and what types you are less likely to have.
Thus, within the framework of amateur socionic meetings, one can have fun by looking at photographs and putting forward hypotheses about the type of people depicted on them. But the socionic professional will not draw final conclusions about the sociotype when typing from photographs.
