Taking on the solution of any problem, we do it in our own way: at our own pace, rhythm, in ways that are convenient for us. This shows our individual style. To be effective, you need to learn and develop your individual style.
What is individual style
An individual style is a system of human actions that ensures his best adaptation to his activities.
In other words, an individual style helps us to work, study, and solve intellectual problems in such a way that it is as comfortable for us as possible and makes the best use of our strengths, and also levels out our shortcomings.
For example, you are used to doing things slowly, but methodically and consistently. Knowing these features, you develop an individual style of activity: you plan things in advance in order to avoid force majeure if possible, put more time on the performance of work tasks, choose types of work in which you do not need to make a lot of decisions instantly and work in multitasking mode, but which require in-depth study and perseverance.
All these characteristics add up to your individual style.
How to find your personal style
First of all, you don't need to make much effort to find your own individual style, because it is generated automatically, naturally adapting your characteristics to the requirements of the tasks.
Secondly, if you set yourself the goal of polishing, developing your individual style, then you need to observe yourself, noting the following points:
- which methods of action are easy for you, and which cause tension;
- at what pace you are most comfortable working;
- Whether you enjoy gliding quickly on the surface of tasks, contacts, or are you more satisfied with a gradual, thoughtful and deep immersion in a single task.
Answering yourself to these and other questions, it is easier for you to understand which style is closer to you, and to develop it in your activity.
Thirdly, in order to find your individual style, you need to try different options, different styles. And then it will be easier for you to decide what really suits you and what does not.
