Instructions
Step 1
To learn how not to blush, write down all the situations that you remember when you felt the blush appear on your cheeks. Determine what exactly caused this reaction.
Step 2
Breathing exercises can help end the tendency to blush easily. Practice controlling your breathing when you find yourself in stressful situations. Breathe in slowly, one breath for three seconds, and then exhale slowly, while simultaneously rolling in your head the idea that there is no cause for concern. Continue this exercise until you feel relaxed and confident.
Step 3
Learning not to blush will help the ability to focus your thoughts on something that is not related to what is happening to you. Consider this list of situations in advance that you feel reassured about by washing, and try to think about them in a state of excitement.
Step 4
Limit alcohol and spicy foods - these foods provide strong blood flow to your face. Combined with a situation that causes you strong emotions, you run the risk of blushing even more and this reaction will be difficult to control.
