In the life of any person, sooner or later there are situations when you need to take responsibility for someone or for something. But deciding to carry such a load can be very difficult, and sometimes you do not want to take this step at all.

Step 1

Think about how strong you are in this situation. In life, sometimes there are both completely irresponsible people and overly responsible ones. The former relate to life too simply, not considering that they owe something to someone, and their conscience has long and deeply slept. The latter, on the contrary, seem to bear all the hardships of the world, constantly complain and try to solve not only their own, but also other people's problems, and not always successfully. Both those and others rush to extremes, not knowing how to assess their strengths and capabilities. Therefore, you always need to understand what you will do in order to then answer to someone or to yourself. Are you really up to the burden you want to take on?

Step 2

Consider the seriousness of your actions. For example, when you decide to take a kitten home, you are already taking responsibility for it. But, as often happens, people are not sinless. And after some time this kitten can be handed over, for example, to an animal shelter or given to a friend. The reasons may be different: it gets dirty, meows at night, or just doesn't like it. But the result is the same: this act obviously will not decorate you - you could not stand the responsibility. And this, of course, is bad, but after all, the attitude towards this creature was not initially too serious. Another example is the desire to have a child. There are no options here: if you consider yourself a human and understand what conscience is, then there can be no question of any shelter. This means that this step must be deliberate, serious, and you will have to answer all your life.

Step 3

Don't be afraid to be in charge. Any reasonable person understands that it is stupid to turn a blind eye to problems and simply not solve them. After all, any decision is a responsibility. You have to deal with it every day: at home, at work, with friends. So, not everything is so scary. The main thing to remember is that no matter what situation you find yourself in, you have close people who can support with advice, and sometimes help carry a difficult load.
