A person who judges everything new according to his own previous or someone else's experience, tries to foresee the results of future events through the prism of his own convictions, becomes captive to his own stereotypes.

Step 1

Answer yourself to a simple question: are you always right in disputes? No. Everyone has to make mistakes sometimes, and so do you. Based on this, assume that many of your judgments, which you currently consider to be true, are far from reality. But which ones? You cannot know for sure. Hence, it would be logical to question any judgments.

Step 2

Develop conscious thinking. Give up the patterns of perception that have developed around this or that object or phenomenon. Recognize that every situation and every moment that happens is new. Don't be afraid to go beyond order and clarity - in many cases, "not knowing" is much more interesting and useful than "knowing." In addition, in most cases, knowledge is just a label attached to this or that event or phenomenon. A simple example - people once knew that the Earth was flat. Now they know that it is round. And what is she really like? Maybe multidimensional?

Step 3

Practice a non-standard perception of the world. Try painting a painting from life, such as a still life. It doesn’t matter if you don’t know how to draw, it’s not the point here. When looking at objects, try to feel the emotions that they evoke in you. Now try to see their manifestation in your thoughts in the form of images, capture them on paper or canvas. Try to shape your individual feelings. Which one? No one can say this except you - after all, this is your perception of the world!

Step 4

When faced with a typical situation, do not rush to resolve it in a well-known and proven way, tell yourself something like: "I don't know, we'll see." Thus, you will abandon the static nature of reality and take into account the uniqueness, individuality of each moment and each situation.

Step 5

Let go of the habit of labeling people, events, etc. For example, you meet a schoolgirl on the street, and you immediately have a ready-made image - "cheerful", "irresponsible", "naive", etc. Or you see an old man, and your mind immediately gives out ready-made associations: "illness", "grumpiness", "wisdom", "poor eyesight", etc. However, in reality, everything may not be at all like this: the old man may turn out to be healthier than you, and the schoolgirl may be smarter and more responsible.

Step 6

Think about how you create a false picture of reality by treating people like this. You attribute qualities to them that they may not possess. Laying out all the reality around you on the shelves, you keep yourself captive to the stereotypes living in your mind. Learn to just feel people - at the level of their energy, without hanging labels.

Step 7

Do an exercise called Action Meditation. To do this, while performing any action, for example, washing dishes, concentrate on your movements. Don't think about anything, thoughts should go away. There are only your movements, and nothing else - smooth, viscous, pleasant. Meditate on movements, extend control, awareness to all your actions - and you will see how much in your life that you do automatically, according to the patterns that have been ingrained into your consciousness over the years. Get away from stereotypes and automatism, and the world around you will begin to change - it will become bright, lively, filled with many events.

Step 8

Look at the world with an open mind, accepting all its individual characteristics, live in step with the constant change of reality around you, be always ready to create, invent, love and see the hidden meaning in what others do not see it.
