Relationships with others, especially those of the opposite sex, are often complicated by two obstacles: fear of ridicule and not knowing the topic of conversation. But with the right attitude to the question, both difficulties turn out to be insignificant and easily overcome, and self-confidence and disposition to the interlocutor play a decisive role.
Instructions
Step 1
Getting rid of the fear of communicating with strangers is one of the tasks solved in the course of acting. Fortunately, you don't have to go to acting to speak to an outsider. It is enough to use the basic principles of the theater school.
Do not draw your own attention to yourself and do not try to look at yourself through the eyes of your interlocutor. You always look the way you feel. If you are in a good mood, it means that the man will see you as a beautiful girl. And if you still have the courage to talk to him, you will also seem outgoing, ready for new contacts.
Don't play anything out of yourself. Behave just like you do with your friends. Do not distort your voice and facial expressions. Any attempt at pretense will be immediately noticed, and the impression of you will be spoiled.
Step 2
Basically, the first phrase doesn't matter. This may be an anecdote, but relatively new, which is hardly known to a man. It is even more effective to start a dialogue with a question. Find the first phrase in the context of the situation. Use the room in which you are, the geographical location as assistants. The question must have a double bottom: the answer suggests itself, but is not complete. Continue the dialogue in its discussion.
Step 3
You can do without subtle phrases and humor. Just be brave and go up to the man. Say hello and introduce yourself, if necessary, tell us how you ended up at this party, what you think of it. Pause after each phrase to understand the other person's reaction. If he is interested in you, you will immediately understand it. Find further topics of conversation depending on the context.
Step 4
If the man, in response to your greeting and the offer of acquaintance, refused, smile and leave him without undue persistence. Do not be upset or reproach yourself for stupid behavior. Perhaps he really liked you, but he came with a girl or was simply not in the mood for a new acquaintance. In any case, this is not the last chance in your life.
