Intuitive thinking is inherent in every person, but not everyone knows how to use it, not everyone trusts their inner voice or sixth sense. One person's intuition may be bright and always active, while another - completely undeveloped, remaining at a primitive level. What methods can you use to strengthen and develop your intuition?

Intuitive thinking (intuition) - sensory assessment, analysis of questions and situations from the point of view of sensations, without connecting rational perception. This type of thinking does not have specific stages, it remains unconscious, proceeding at a subconscious level. Typical for him is speed, an emphasis on a comprehensive view of the situation. Unlike the logical type of thinking, intuition is not based on signs and logic; any conclusions and answers come in the form of insights (insights), bypassing detailed logical reasoning.

There is a sufficient number of different techniques, methods, exercises and techniques, the use of which allows you to hone your intuition, open it, and strengthen it. Some of them may seem complicated and require a lot of effort and time. Others are simpler and accessible to literally everyone.

Rules

When deciding to engage in the development of intuitive thinking, it is important to consider the following points and rules:

  1. the process of training intuition is a laborious process; it will not be possible to develop subconscious thinking in one or two approaches; therefore, it is important to tune in to long-term work;
  2. it is not at all necessary to allocate a large amount of time for exercise; the main thing is that they are performed regularly, with full dedication and awareness;
  3. for the development of intuition to proceed faster and easier, it is first necessary to understand for what purpose you want to reveal your intuition, for what exactly it can be useful;
  4. you should take training seriously; if there is doubt in the mind, distrust of methods and methods, then the effect of the exercises will grow very slowly or will be absent altogether.

Body contact

Physical and mental - things that are inextricably linked. Therefore, intuition is often manifested through bodily sensations. Fever, tingling sensations, "butterflies in the stomach", nausea, short-term dizziness, rumbling in the stomach, short-term painful sensations - all this, as well as numerous other manifestations, may indicate the activation of intuitive thinking. It is important to be able to listen to your body, to understand the signs it gives.

It is quite simple to train contact with the body. Having chosen a convenient time and place, you need to ask yourself any question that you want to get an answer to. At first, you should choose questions as simple as possible. After the exciting topic has been spoken to yourself, you need to relax and listen to your feelings. It will gradually become easier to understand body signals.

An important point: you need to decide in advance what sensations will speak about negative responses, which ones - about positive ones.

Working with the word

Intuition often manifests itself in misprints and typos, in stonecrops and slips of the tongue. You should pay attention to this, fix them in your memory.

There are two ways to help you develop your intuitive thinking with words:

  1. waking up in the morning, you need to write down (by hand, in notes on the phone, on the computer - whatever you like) a list of words or phrases that come to mind first; even if everything looks absurd, you should not try to control the stream of consciousness; after the list is postponed until the evening, and then compare what was written with the events of the past day;
  2. write a list of words that come to mind first and which are associated with an exciting situation, an insoluble question; at first, a list of 5-10 words will suffice; then you need to come up with associations to these words, you should write down what first comes to mind; at first the associations will be typical, but after a series of repetitions, unexpected images and ideas related to the words in the list will begin to emerge from the subconscious; it is these images and ideas that are signals from intuition to which you need to listen, which are worth analyzing.

Attention to detail

Intuitive thinking works in alliance with external factors. An unintentionally heard phrase on the street, a song, a leaflet with a text that came to hand - seemingly random moments, however, they may contain the answer to an exciting question. By listening, looking closely at the details, one can gradually train not only the ability to think intuitively, but also the ability to decipher such “external signals”.

Dreams as Keys to Intuition

In dreams, a person often receives images that have a direct semantic meaning. The subconscious mind is especially active during sleep, which means that intuitive thinking is also very active.

You need to learn to remember your dreams. One way is to write down everything that you remember right after waking up. And then learn and interpret them. It is possible to rely on dream books, but they do not give a complete picture, with the help of them it is impossible to carry out an individual analysis of dreams. However, in the first couples, other people's interpretations of symbols, images and events can help to understand the meaning of dreams.

Meditation, relaxation and loneliness

Without the ability to relax, it is very difficult to learn how to enter a meditative state. A person, as a rule, can fully relax only when he is alone with himself.

It is important to "pause life" every day, to give yourself the opportunity to be in silence, alone. At such moments, when consciousness (and the brain) calms down, intuitive thinking begins to behave more actively, it is easier to feel and recognize it. Even 10 minutes a day spent in a meditative state will help open your intuition.

Using one or all of the methods described at once will gradually allow you to start thinking not only rationally, logically. It will help you better hear your inner voice and trust your inner feelings.
