How does it feel to love a person
Love is the next driving force behind many actions, right after survival. And is it possible to conceive of one without the other? Love is an all-encompassing feeling that can be directed at one person, or it can be present in the heart as a way of perceiving the world.
To love is the ability to forgive. Everyone makes mistakes, no one, not a single saint of all the world's religions was sinless. But love knows how to forgive and accept a mistake. This means that you need to be able to forgive not only other people, but also yourself.
To love is to accept the object of love as it is. Love is only possible in the present tense. It will not be true if you say to yourself: "I would love this person if he did this or change in such and such a direction." This is not love. Yes, sometimes this feeling breaks down on the reefs of someone else's character and life's troubles, but as long as there is love, you even accept flaws.
To love is to believe and trust. Even if previous experience advises otherwise. Even if the heart was broken, true love contributes to the fact that you begin to feel as if this past did not exist, as if you have a new heart that does not know the bitterness of resentment, deception and defeat.
No wonder they say that love exists not because of the essence of people, but in spite of it. It turns out that almost every person, upon closer examination, has so many flaws, and the relationship with him promises so many difficulties that there is no doubt that love happens despite these circumstances.
What is not love
Love and being in love are not the same thing. Falling in love is passionate, fast, impulsive, it burns, not warms. Falling in love can be interesting, but it can also leave behind ashes. Love is what always makes life better.
To love does not mean turning a blind eye to a person's shortcomings. On the contrary, love sees everything clearly and distinctly. And it still stays, without running away in panic.
Love does not cripple a person. True true love, on the contrary, contributes to the fact that all the traumas and experiences that a person received in the previous time are healed and forgotten.
Love is not a gift. It is not manna from heaven that comes down from heaven and promises long lasting happiness. If you are lucky enough to meet true love, take care of it. Work on the relationship, don't let the bad sides of your character affect that feeling. Discourage circumstances that try to destroy your love.
