The history of superstitious fears is rooted in the deep past. The origin of some of them is quite logical, but where others came from is often quite difficult to understand. In our time, in place of the debunked ancient signs, new ones that are relevant at the moment are rapidly emerging.
Superstitious are not only mere mortals, but also eminent talents and geniuses. For example, N. V. Gogol left a will in which he described his own funeral, because he was afraid of lethargic sleep. A. S. Pushkin, in turn, did not suffer the fate of the hanged man along with the Decembrists, because he returned home after the hare twice crossed the road in front of his carriage.
It should be noted that the fairer sex is more susceptible to various fears. Such is the nature of female nature: spilled salt or a broken mirror evoke vague apprehension and fear of failure in the future.
Many superstitions accompany almost all celebrations in our life, from the New Year and birthday to the wedding and christening of the child. It is worth understanding that signs are dangerous not because they attract misfortune and misfortune, but because a superstitious person is always in anticipation of these negative events.
To get rid of the negative perception of various signs, you need to learn to look at things with a positive outlook. All bad superstitions can be interpreted from the positive side:
- Everything broken can be equated in a dish, and this, as you know, is fortunate.
- All animals and birds are just our smaller brothers, who are not plotting anything harmful against us.
- Nature does not have bad weather, nor does it have numbers, days of the week, or seasons.

However, blind indulgence in superstition can only spoil the mood and perception of life in general. It is important to learn to look at the world easier and not attach any importance to both fairy-tale superstitions and ubiquitous omens.
