A person may have a difficult situation when nothing pleases, and life itself seems empty and meaningless. This usually happens when big trouble hits him at the same time. It’s just right to lose heart, deciding that nothing good will happen anymore. There are also directly opposite situations: a person has everything that his heart desires. It would seem, live and rejoice! And he is languishing with boredom, aimlessly wasting his life, not knowing what to do with himself. There are simple ways in which, in either case, you can feel the taste for life again.
Go headlong into work. For a long time there have been sayings: "Work is the best distraction from grief" and "Idleness is the mother of all vices." And it is true. After all, when a person is constantly busy with something, he has neither the time nor the strength to feel sorry for himself, to be in captivity of painful thoughts, or even more so to go crazy from idleness. This is not only about work in the primary sense of the word. You can find yourself an interesting hobby, you can help those who desperately need help, that is, do charity work.
Get angry with yourself, "shake it up." The famous writer Stefan Zweig began writing the book "Magellan" after a cruise on a swanky ocean liner. Where everything was so comfortable, cozy, serene that it even began to annoy, drive into boredom. And the writer, by his own admission, suddenly felt ashamed and annoyed with himself. He mentally compared the wonderful conditions in which he was, with those that befell the pioneer sailors. The result is a wonderful book about a brave navigator.
If you are a believer, you can again feel the taste for life, remembering that according to religious canons, despondency is considered a mortal sin, and life is a precious gift from God. This thought will surely force you to pull yourself together. In the end, you can always talk to a priest, get his advice and guidance.
Compare yourself with others, because there are so many people around who are unlucky in life! Some of them had real tragedies that can literally crush anyone. Nevertheless, they did not lose heart, but courageously resist the evil fate. You should learn from them.
Try to get more positive emotions from the simplest, everyday things. A beautiful sunset, good weather, a smile of a child - all this is already a reason for joy. And the painful thoughts that life is meaningless is just a momentary weakness.
