The definition of freedom interprets it as the possibility of choosing an option for action, a person's manifestation of his will. Another meaning of freedom is independence, as well as the absence of any restrictions, including moral and ethical ones.
Since everyone wants freedom and openly declares about it, then it is necessary. But the problem is that the concept of freedom is different for everyone and this definition depends on the upbringing of a person, his values, worldview. Someone interprets freedom as the ability to do whatever he wants, that is, to commit illegal and illegal actions, subject to malicious intent. In this sense, freedom must be deprived, since a perverted notion of what is right and what is not can lead to a person committing a number of crimes, including especially grave ones. Freedom from something - this is how most people perceive freedom. Freedom from everyday routine work - that is, the ability to do what you want, do what you like. Freedom in personal relationships often implies the presence of several partners, "legitimizes" repeated betrayal. Very often, having received freedom, a person is lost - he no longer knows what to do with it. When you want something for a very long time, strive for it, endow the desired with non-existent characteristics, then idealization occurs - it seems to you that having achieved this freedom, you will change. In fact, it turns out that having received freedom, you understand that you did not need it. In its optimal manifestation, freedom gives a person the right to choose - as soon as a child grows up and becomes capable of making decisions, he begins to make a choice. Prior to that, his freedom is limited by parental boundaries, and after a certain age, this already adult person can decide who he wants to be, where he will go to study, with whom he will communicate, how to dress, etc. The presence of freedom in this sense is necessary, since without this it is impossible to find your image, define your preferences, create your image. Having the opportunity throughout life to choose what a person aspires to, he acquires individuality, realizes his life plans. By depriving a person of freedom, he can be deprived of the life he wants to live. But there is no absolute freedom either - as soon as you begin to strive for the long-awaited freedom, you become dependent on your desires, which in fact is already non-freedom.
