Newbies in socionics often make the first, second, or both in turn typing errors. If you like socionics, and you want to successfully and profitably apply it in your life, learn not to make these mistakes.
Mistake 1. Type indiscriminately
The newly-minted socionist begins to type each and every one, without asking and without discrimination. Starting with loved ones, ending with trees and ants. The whole world appears before his gaze in the form of circles, triangles, squares and other geometric shapes.
In communicating with a zealous new recruit-socionic, you will not have time to open your mouth, but he already squints a sly eye and mysteriously utters: “Ahaaaa! This is intuitive (sensory, logical, ethical - it is necessary to emphasize)”It becomes unbearable to communicate with him, no matter what you do, the convert will immediately subject him to comprehension in terms of socionics.
All right, I would have typed and kept quiet. But no! The rookie socionicist just wants to share a wonderful (explaining everything!) Discovery with others and teach socionics the whole world, no matter how much the world resists it.
As a result, a young (regardless of passport age) socionics has to stay close to their own kind, and ordinary people, having seen enough of the behavior of zealous typists, consider socionics a sect. (Socionics is not a sect!)
Mistake 2. To renounce socionics after the first unsuccessful typing
The second error is the exact opposite of Error 1.
The young socionic, having familiarized himself with the basics of this wonderful practice, begins to type, but … he does not succeed.
It should be mentioned here that at first glance, socionics is simple (8 functions, 16 types), but in fact it requires a certain skill to be successfully applied. Skill takes time, but typers need patience. Brief seminars or courses are needed to get an initial introduction to the theory. The typing practice needs to be worked out for a long time and a lot, and sometimes on your own.
Faced with the first difficulties in typing, the young socionist despairs and gradually forgets about socionics. Unfortunately, not everyone has the patience, perseverance and motivation to learn socionic typing for a long time. And socionics runs the risk of being undeservedly forgotten.
