There are bright people: they have a certain elusive charisma, pleasant manners and a broad outlook, invariably attracting those around them. If you are not naturally endowed with such qualities, but would also like to interest people in yourself, this can be achieved by working on yourself.
Broad outlook
You can be an excellent specialist and have an excellent understanding of the field you work with and attend refresher courses, but a discussion of accounting or the specifics of writing programs in one of the programming languages is unlikely to help you strike up a casual conversation with an unfamiliar person. Write down a list of topics that interest you and that would help you engage in conversation with a stranger. For example, it can be novelties of cinema, modern Russian literature, city news, fashion trends. Deepen your knowledge of these topics, read magazines and watch programs dedicated to them. Such conversations will be of interest to a wide range of listeners and, having learned to confidently and captivatingly talk about the latest trends in the world of perfumery or contemporary poets, you will win your audience.
Appearance
A well-known proverb says that people first judge each other by their clothes. Of course, then they pay attention to what you are talking about, to the manner of behaving, but the first impression is made up of the appearance. Therefore, you should try to look dignified. Interest is aroused by people who have their own style, but at the same time look appropriate. If you are afraid to make mistakes and are afraid to experiment, get an original accessory or jewelry that will catch your eye - an elaborate brooch, a painted neckerchief, an old pendant. Such a detail will attract the views of others to you.
Interesting hobby
Get yourself a hobby. It is better to give preference to something non-trivial: not collecting stamps or modern dances, but, for example, embroidering traditional patterns of Indian tribes, mountaineering or Japanese dance with fans. Such a hobby will add a bit of unusualness to you in the eyes of acquaintances and arouse interest in you. You may not find anyone who would share such an unusual hobby with you, but a grain of uniqueness will add value to you in the eyes of others.
Understatement
Do not seek to immediately lay out all the information about you to unfamiliar interlocutors: who your parents are, where you work, what you dreamed about in childhood and what guides you in making decisions. A person whose motives are clear, reasoning is always clear, and actions do not cause surprise, gradually becomes boring. Leave room for mystery - even if people may not always predict you, this will only fuel their interest.
